Through our Training Institute — Ujuzi Fursa Africa Training Institutes, we are redefining healthcare education through innovation and measurable impact.

Our mission, “Making Lives Better,” drives us to equip learners with the skills to create meaningful opportunities and to ensure that quality, affordable healthcare resources are developed and deployed across communities.

Since 2018, our learners have invested a development fee of KES 18,000 to gain hands-on, industry-relevant training. Upon deployment, graduates have gone on to earn up to KES 40,000 per month, demonstrating both the economic empowerment and sustainable career pathways created through our programmes.

Educational and Economic Impact

Established Legacy: Founded in 2018, the institute boasts over seven years of proven success in empowering students and nurturing professional growth. To date, we have trained more than 7,500+ professional caregivers, creating life-changing opportunities for young people to acquire vital healthcare skills and build rewarding careers. 

• Skill Development:   We provide comprehensive healthcare training, offering eight certificate programmes on caregiving courses designed to help students unlock their full potential. Our learners are primarily high school graduates, with 90% being female and 90% under the age of 25, reflecting our strong commitment to empowering young women and youth across the country. 
• Job Creation & Placement:  over 2500 caregivers have gone through our ecosystem to earn jobs and decent wage 
• Accessibility: We promote inclusivity by offering affordable, flexible learning options, including an online caregiving course that enables certification within 3–30 days.
• Commitment to Excellence: Our core commitment is to create an enriching educational environment that promotes learning, innovation, and personal development.

As part of the Comfort Care Africa Network, the Thrive & Rise Facility is a specialised centre dedicated to mental health and emotional well-being. It offers comprehensive, professional care designed to support healing, recovery, and long-term mental wellness, ensuring that every patient receives expert support beyond the hospital environment.

• Specialised Expertise: We deliver personalised, one-on-one patient care with a focus on cancer and heart attack recovery. Our licensed professionals offer comprehensive, patient-centred services including stroke management, occupational therapy, and wound care.
• Comprehensive Staffing: We ensure 24/7 access to general practitioners and qualified nursing staff, providing round-the-clock medical support.
• Medical Oversight: A full-time resident General Practitioner conducts daily reviews and ensures continuous adjustment of care plans to meet evolving patient needs.
• Nutritional Support: A dedicated, full-time nutritionist curates personalised meal plans that align with individual recovery stages and nutritional requirements.
• Rehabilitation Focus: Our full-time, licensed physiotherapists design and implement tailored rehabilitation plans to promote recovery, pain management, and overall wellness. 

The Rise & Thrive Facility delivers structured, evidence-based programmes tailored to address diverse mental health needs:

• Mental Health Residential Programmes - Providing round-the-clock, supportive care in a therapeutic environment for individuals requiring intensive treatment.
• Addiction Rehabilitation Programmes - Specialised recovery support for substance use disorders, guided by clinical professionals and holistic therapy models. 
• Outpatient and Add-On Services - Flexible, accessible care options that allow patients to receive ongoing therapy and support while maintaining daily routines.
